How FutCheck collects, uses, and protects your information, including our use of cookies and third-party advertising.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how FutCheck ("FutCheck", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at futcheck.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FutCheck is an independent companion app for EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team and is not affiliated with Electronic Arts Inc. See our About page for details.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. If you sign in, we receive your email address and basic profile details from your chosen sign-in provider (for example, Google). We use this to create and secure your account.
- Usage & analytics data. We collect anonymised information about how the Service is used — pages viewed, features used, approximate region, device and browser type — to understand and improve the product.
- Cookies & similar technologies. We and our partners use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and (where applicable) serve advertising. See the Cookies section below.
- Payment information. If you purchase a membership, payments are processed by our payment provider (PayPal). We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Communications. If you email us, we keep your messages so we can respond and support you.
How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate you and keep your session and account secure.
- Understand usage and measure and improve performance and features.
- Process memberships and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, and only as needed:
- Google — sign-in, analytics, and advertising (AdSense).
- Product analytics provider — to measure and improve usage.
- Payment provider (PayPal) — to process membership payments.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — to run and deliver the Service.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right not to have personal information sold — which we do not do. To exercise any right, email us at support@futcheck.com.
Data retention & security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International transfers
FutCheck is operated online and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
