How to Use the FutCheck Squad Builder

A practical walkthrough of the FutCheck Squad Builder — building a team, checking chemistry, and generating cost-efficient solutions for SBCs.

The FutCheck Squad Builder is built to answer two questions quickly: does this team have the chemistry I want, and what is the cheapest way to field it? This guide walks through both, whether you are theory-crafting a first XI or trying to solve a Squad Building Challenge without overpaying.

Building a squad by hand

Pick a formation, then click a slot to search for a player. As you add cards, chemistry updates live, so you can see immediately how each addition links to the rest of the team. This is the fastest way to test an idea before you spend a single coin — swap a card in and out and watch whether the links hold.

Because the builder shows prices alongside players, you can compare two options at a glance and take the one that keeps your chemistry intact for less.

Generating a solution

The most powerful feature is solution generation. Instead of hand-picking eleven cards, you set the constraints you need — a minimum team rating, chemistry, specific leagues, nations, clubs, rare cards, and so on — and the builder searches for a valid team that meets them for the lowest coin cost it can find. This is exactly what you want for SBCs, where the goal is to satisfy a list of requirements as cheaply as possible.

  • Set the rating and chemistry the challenge asks for.
  • Add any league, nation, club, quality or rare-card requirements.
  • Generate, then review the suggested XI and its total cost.
  • Swap any card you already own untradeable to cut the price further.

Reading the results

A generated squad is a starting point, not a rule. If the solution uses a player you dislike or already have in your club, replace that one slot and let chemistry re-check the rest. The cost shown is based on current market estimates, so treat it as a close guide rather than an exact receipt — prices move, and untradeable fodder you already own is effectively free.

Tips to get more from it

  • Use your untradeable players first. The cheapest SBC is almost always the one built from fodder you already own.
  • Loosen one constraint at a time if a solution looks expensive — dropping an unnecessary rare or club requirement can slash the cost.
  • Save chemistry for where it counts and let the builder assign the rest.
  • Cross-check any expensive card against its price history before buying, in case a promo is about to move the market.
